Licensed Real Estate Agent/PrincipalFor 46 years Neil has been the principal of the family real estate office, successfully managing both the property business and the weekly livestock sales at Singleton Regional Saleyards.
Neil started in real estate at the age of 18 when his father Alexander established Branxton’s first stock and station agency, initially as a sideline to the family’s farming interests and livestock sales.
Real estate gained greater prominence on the back of the coal mining boom and then surged again with completion of the Hunter Expressway, which has seen Sydney buyers look to Hunter townships such as Branxton and Huntlee for affordability and lifestyle.
Over the years Neil has built up a loyal customer base and played an active role in the business and social life of the community.
He was one of the original founders of the Business Chamber in Branxton and the inaugural president for three years. He has maintained close links with the Catholic Church and has assisted the Salvation Army with its community welfare projects and farming endeavours.
In 2015 Neil drove a support vehicle for a team of 100 motorcycle riders in the Black Dog Ride from Bathurst to Uluru. He’ll take part in the 2017 Tasmanian ride, continuing to raise funds and awareness in memory of a close friend who took her own life.
